This listing is for “Spice Curry Shinkai”, the daytime face of Toranomon BAR Shinkai.
Our location is in Toranomon 3-chome, a 3-minute walk from Kamiyacho Station. The surrounding area is a vast office building district with large office buildings in disarray. During lunch time, there are so few restaurants that there are lines at all of them, and it is common to see lunch refugees looking around for a place to eat after 12:00 noon.
Our restaurant also hopes to be of service to Kamiyacho office workers during their lunch hours, even if only a little, by offering our famous “spice curry” during lunch hours.
Featured in the article is the Chicken Soup Curry, which is our most recommended curry.
Chicken Soup Curry is a soupy, squashy curry, but it is chicken-based with a small amount of coconut milk, creating a captivating aroma and taste with the addition of more than 20 spices and herbs in a perfect harmony of flavor and sweetness.
It is difficult to describe this flavor in words, so please try it at our restaurant.

In “Evening curry for the end of the day,” the sister restaurant “Azabu Juban Yakuzen Curry” is also listed.
The curry featured is the most popular “2 Kinds of Aigake Yakuzen Curry (S&C)”.
This is a luxurious two-curry dish, with a vertical wall of rice in the center of the plate and two types of curry on either side.

During dinner/bar time, “2 kinds of Aigake Yakuzen Curry” is priced at 1,300 yen (tax not included), or 1,100 yen (tax not included) for a single dish of each.
As many of you may know, Azabu Juban Yakuzen Curry is our daytime name, and at night we operate as “DiningBAR Hidden Lounge”. Yakuzen Curry was originally served on the evening menu, and of course, is still served on the evening menu.

In fact, we receive orders for curry until late at night every day, such as for evening meals for businessmen who work late, or for curry to finish up after a drinking session.
Late-night dining options are limited and often include junk food such as ramen, family restaurants, and fast food, but people are happy to hear that they can eat yakuzen curry late at night without feeling guilty.

Lunch is a great value with homemade pickle service!
Both “Spice Curry Shinkai” and its sister restaurant “Azabu Juban Yakuzen Curry” offer “homemade pickles” as a service and all-you-can-eat for lunch only, which is actually quite popular and much appreciated.
Our curry has almost no vegetables in it, but we want our customers to consume vegetables as well, so we make and serve homemade pickles that go well with our curry. We make our own pickles to go with the curry so that the flavor is gentle and does not interfere with the curry.
