Today we are pleased to announce the arrival of 「FAR EAST OF PEAT THIRD BATCH & FOURTH BATCH」, newly released from Wakatsuru Shuzo and Saburomaru Distillery.
Second exchange of original pure form from the Sabromaru distillery.
This time it is a collaboration between two historic distilleries, 「Saburomaru Distillery x Eigashima Distillery」.
Two pieces of this collaboration were also sold at the same time.
THIRD BATCH is limited to 600 pieces.FOURTH BATCH is limited to 5,000 pieces.
１，FAR EAST OF PEAT THIRD BATCH
Features
Vanilla and syrup sweetness, citrus freshness afterwards
Notable for its sweetness. A sweetness that cannot be imagined from the aroma invades the mouth. Combined with the oily nature, the sweetness is quite strong. There is not much peat, and the sweetness is followed by citrus freshness, coniferous and minty woody notes. The flavour does not change significantly when watered down, which diminishes the oilyness but contributes to drinkability.

Features
Scotch malt with complex flavours
Light, but you can gradually feel the presence of peat; more Eigashima malt in both aroma and taste than THIRD BATCH.The sweetness is weak and slightly oily with a strong peaty note.The impression is that the Scotch malt holds the whole thing together, leading to a complex flavour.
