This is a light-peated Japanese single malt whisky with a phenol value of 15 ppm, blended using the distinctive, sweet and floral unpeated bourbon barrel and sherry cask spirits from the Igawa Distillery as its base.
The Japanese goshawk depicted on the label sits at the apex of the food chain; whilst it possesses a rugged, wild image, it also embodies an elegance that allows it to soar quietly and gracefully through the vast skies. Furthermore, the forests inhabited by birds of prey are home to a rich variety of flora and fauna, indicating the presence of a multi-layered food chain.
