TSC FS Caol Ila 9 years

The Caol Ila Distillery, located on the island of Islay, Scotland, was founded by Hector Henderson in 1846.12 Since then, the distillery has undergone several ownership changes and shutdowns, and is currently owned by Diageo.
The Kalila distillery has the largest production capacity on Islay, producing 6.5 million liters of whiskey per year. The distillery’s name “Carilla” means “Strait of Islay” in Gaelic, and is derived from the strait separating Islay and Jura.
Kalila whiskey is characterized by its light, smoky flavor and is used as a base spirit for blended whiskeys, especially Johnnie Walker. It is also popular as a single malt whisky, with the Carilla 12-year being particularly appreciated for its well-balanced flavor.
