TSC Blair Athol 15 years

Blair Atholl distillery is located in the Scottish Highlands and was established in 1798 by John Stewart and Robert Robertson as “Aldore Distillery”; it was expanded by John Robertson in 1825 and renamed “Blair Atholl”.

The distillery was temporarily closed during a period of economic hardship from 1932 to 1949, but was later reopened by Arthur Bell & Sons; production capacity was expanded in 1973, and the distillery now uses four distillers.

Blair Athol’s whisky is characterized by its nutty, spicy flavors, which are especially enhanced by aging in sherry casks. A visitor center for tourists was also opened in 1987.
