What these two craft distilleries—which have been taking on the challenge of crafting whisky for the world since 2017—have in common is a long history of distilling passed down through the generations. The meeting of their strikingly different characters has given rise to this exceptional drop: the first collaborative bottling by Saburomaru and Kanosuke.
Saburomaru Distillery has used spirit distilled from heavily peated malt and matured in bourbon casks and toasted casks. This has been blended in exquisite balance with non-peated, bourbon-cask-matured spirit from Kanosuke Distillery.
Mellow meets Peated.
