Today we are pleased to announce the arrival of Kyoda Single Cask 2021 Cask No. 4248, a new limited release from Helios Shuzo, Kyoda distillery.
Malt whisky prepared and distilled at Helios Shuzo Kyoda distillery in 2018 and matured for three years. It was released as a Japanese whisky, following the previous release of Kyoda Cask Strength 2020, the first single malt whisky from Okinawa. This edition will be a single cask, limited to 556 bottles.
Floral and elegant, with sweet notes of cask and a deep, mature aroma
The previous Kyoda Cask Strength 2020 was so peaty that it was almost like an Islay. The current Kyoda Single Cask 2021 has a different taste, with a fruity, sweet finish.
The impression is sweet from nose to taste, with a slight saltiness lingering in the aftertaste, with a little peat in the aftertaste.
