At Toranomon BAR Shinkai, we have prepared several plans for year-end parties ranging from 4,500 yen to 6,000 yen.

And it has been a year and a half since Toranomon Bar Shinkai opened in December.

1.New items “AKASHI Japanese Sake Cask 4years” and other 2 bottles

This month, we are pleased to introduce two new arrivals of limited quantities of precious domestic whisky and one new shipment of domestic craft gin.

(1) Akashi Japanese Sake Cask 4 years old

This single malt whiskey is made at a small whiskey distillery in Akashi City, Hyogo Prefecture, overlooking the Seto Inland Sea.
It is stored for 4 years in the same casks in which sake is stored. The malt is bottled non-chill filtered (no cooling filtration) and non-colored (no coloring) in order to enjoy the true flavor of the malt.
Whisky aged in sake barrels is a uniquely Japanese whisky not found anywhere else in the world. Please give it a try.

(2) Jyuunennmyou Half Decade

Whisky released by Saburomaru Distillery only in the Hokuriku rWhisky released by Saburomaru Distillery only in the Hokuriku region.
Near the Saburomaru distillery, there is a place called “Jyunenmyo. In the past, there was a field of rape blossoms where people used oil from rapeseeds to light their lamps. The name “Jennen-myo” is thought to express the wish to gently illuminate people’s hearts just like the oil lamps that used to light the fields.

The distillery has carefully selected the original whiskey that has been deeply aged for more than 5 years, and this whiskey has a gentle and deep flavor while maintaining the smokiness that is characteristic of the Saburomaru distillery.

(3)Hokkaido Craft Gin「Kitasuisho」

Kitasuisho, a Hokkaido craft gin made with 11 botanicals, including six unique to Hokkaido, was released in a limited quantity (1,000 bottles).

The word “mizukane” (water bell) means “the fragrance and lingering scent of botanicals spread like ripples on the surface of water when a bell is struck” and was named “Kitamizukane,” meaning “water bell of Hokkaido.

The taste of this highly aromatic craft gin, made with six Hokkaido botanicals and five traditional gin botanicals, begins with the distinctive aroma of juniper berries, followed by the fresh scent of Shiso from the town of Shiranuka, which leaves a lasting impression.
The transparent bottle features a design of a red-crowned crane, a bird representative of Hokkaido in winter, about to land on the snowy plains of Hokkaido.
This craft gin is made at the company’s Asahikawa plant, from maceration and distillation through to final distillation, with a focus on Hokkaido.

2.Sake of the Month, Original Cocktail “Bloody Caesar with Wasabi Stem and Dashi Soy Sauce

Continuing from the last issue, I would like to introduce an original cocktail that is popular at Toranomon BAR Shinkai,
We would like to introduce the “Bloody Caesar with Wasabi Stem and Dashi Soy Sauce” from our popular original cocktails.

◆Brady Caesar with wasabi stems and dashi soy sauce

As the name of the cocktail suggests, this original cocktail uses Japanese ingredients such as “wasabi stem” and “dashi soy sauce” and is made up with vodka as the base and “Clamato Tomato” tomato juice with extract of clams.

Just by looking at the name of the cocktail, you may be thinking, “What in the world does that taste like?” I am sure you will think, “What in the world does it taste like?

The idea for this cocktail was derived from our restaurant’s concept of “Japanese modernity,” and we wanted to create a cocktail that would make the most of Japanese ingredients and the unique Japanese “dashi” (soup stock).
The inspiration for this cocktail came from sushi.
The combination of wasabi, soy sauce, and hamaguri, a combination that has been used in Japan for centuries, was combined in a modern way to create this cocktail!

Please try the overlapping flavors and the spiciness of the wasabi stem.

3.Otaru Beer Otaru Ale, a domestic craft beer

Previously, we introduced a domestic craft gin, and now we would like to introduce another popular product of ours, a domestic craft beer.

The concept of our domestic craft beer lineup is “a little bit rare and unusual products that are not sold at retail stores in town. First, let’s start with Hokkaido’s best products.

4.Seasonal fruit cocktail “Persimmon”

As we move into fall and winter, the seasonal fruits are changing.
