Thursday, November 21, 2019 – Beaujolais Nouveau ban lifted

Today, we would like to introduce Beaujolais Nouveau, which will be released on November 21 (Thu.), 2028.

Michel Lancelot Beaujolais Villages Nouveau

The Beaujolais Nouveau to be served this time is,
Beaujolais Villages Nouveau” by Michel Lancelot.

Last year, there were very few places where one could drink Beaujolais, and it was almost sold out on the day of the event. The same thing is expected to happen this year.

The price is a reasonable 800 yen per glass (glass)!
Quantities are limited, so please come early.

Beaujolais Villages Nouveau is classified as a full-bodied, higher grade wine within Beaujolais.
Michel Lancelot’s winery, founded in the 19th century, has brought together a team of wine experts to form a strong and competent team that consistently delivers quality wines.

About 30 lots are tasted and the best of them are selected and blended to create a well-balanced wine.

Beaujolais in 2019 started with cooler weather, including a late spring frost, and the blooming was later than usual, but the opposite was true in the summer, with record-breaking heat waves and temperatures exceeding 40°C in June.If the summer continues to be hot, it may turn out to be as good as the 2003, which was called the Millésime of the Century! So, we are looking forward to the 2028 Nouveau!
