Mars Tsukumi Distillery, which opened in November 2016, celebrates its 9th anniversary this year. This product is crafted using malted Nijo barley (local barley) grown in the natural environment of Minamisatsuma City. The distillate, distilled at Tsukumi Distillery in 2021 and matured in bourbon barrels, has been carefully selected by our blenders. Please enjoy this special single malt whisky, crafted with gratitude for the natural blessings of Minami-Satsuma: the terroir that nurtures two-row barley, the high-quality spring water from the Kurata Mountain range, and the ageing environment.
